Leo Landscape Studio is a boutique residential landscape design and build studio serving the GTA. We help homeowners turn broad ideas, complicated properties, and real-world budgets into personal, buildable landscapes.
Design is at the centre of our work. How a path moves through the garden, where a terrace catches the evening light, and how planting creates privacy all shape how a landscape looks, feels, and works. Each decision helps bring the space together as a whole.
Our role goes beyond the drawings. From initial design through construction, we guide your project every step of the way. We help define the right direction, work through the complicated parts, and bring the vision to life through quality construction and careful attention to detail.

From Science to Landscapes
What I love about landscape design is seeing an idea become a place someone enjoys every day. I enjoy working through a design at my desk, being on site as it takes shape, and seeing the finished space become part of someone's daily life. Each part teaches me something that I bring to the next project.
My background in biomedical science taught me to observe closely and work through complex problems. In 2019, I began studying landscape at Niagara College. Since then, I've maintained private gardens in Niagara-on-the-Lake, worked at an award-winning landscape design and build firm, and designed more than 150 landscapes. Those experiences have shaped how I approach a landscape, from the way materials come together during construction to how planting matures and the space evolves over the years.
I founded Leo Landscape Studio to bring that experience and my passion for landscape design to working closely with homeowners. I want to hear what you imagine for your space, what could work better, and what would make you want to spend more time outside. Together, we can explore the possibilities and make thoughtful choices within your budget. You don't need to have it all figured out before we talk.

Guided by Eastern principles of balance, simplicity, and restraint, we consider the house, landscape, and natural surroundings as one connected whole.
A good landscape starts with understanding how you want to live in and experience your outdoor space. Before we design, we take time to listen to your ideas, habits, and preferences. You may want room to gather with friends, a quiet place to recharge, or a greater sense of privacy.
Our role is to bring those needs into balance with the character of your home and the conditions of your property. Through proportion, movement, planting, and materials, we translate that understanding into a landscape that feels personal, works naturally for everyday life, and helps you feel connected to your surroundings.
We call this composed balance: a landscape that feels refined yet relaxed, comfortable yet considered, and carefully designed without feeling overworked.
