Our Founder’s Journey in Landscape Design
Leo Landscape Studio was founded by Spencer Liu, a dedicated landscape designer with a passion for creating intentional outdoor spaces. After completing her studies in Landscape Design at Niagara College, she gained valuable experience working on both residential and community projects throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Early in her career, she recognized a common challenge — many homeowners were hiring contractors to build their yards without a clear, cohesive design. This often led to costly mistakes, disjointed layouts, and missed opportunities to maximize space.
With this in mind, Spencer established Leo Landscape Studio to bring professional design expertise to homeowners across Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville, Milton, Burlington, Hamilton, and Etobicoke. Her philosophy blends artistic vision with practical planning, ensuring every project is as functional as it is beautiful. Whether it’s a compact Toronto backyard or a large Oakville estate, Spencer works closely with clients to understand their lifestyle, budget, and goals. Today, Leo Landscape Studio is known for delivering creative, sustainable, and timeless designs that elevate properties and enrich the way people live outdoors.
